Pro Bono Legal Services
Operating under the name Borsotto & Lourenço Social, this initiative features a team of attorneys and legal interns exclusively dedicated to providing free legal assistance in cases of public and social interest.
In practice, the program serves individuals and legal entities in situations of social vulnerability across different profiles. In partnership with Instituto Pro Bono (https://www.probono.org.br/), the firm acts as an ally in combating inequality in access to justice, providing legal assistance to organizations working on behalf of vulnerable populations.
Instituto Pro Bono registers beneficiary entities and communicates service opportunities to registered volunteer law firms. Beyond this work, the Institute promotes direct assistance to populations in vulnerable communities through legal aid clinics, in partnership with organizations operating in these areas.
In addition to pro bono legal services, Borsotto & Lourenço Law Firm regularly participates in social initiatives, such as The Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 and has been operating in Brazil since 1922 with service units for at-risk children, educational projects, professional training programs, and homes for the elderly, among other initiatives.
